Barrows is a South African advertising firm that turned to designer Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design to design their advertising dynamic workspace located in SoHo, New York City, United States. The design concept created by Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design for the project was to combine south African roots and the Soho neighborhood vibe shown on the photos below.
Strategically selected furniture in the central meeting area such as high backed sofa and tiered tables were created by Viccarbe. A black and white tiled coffee bar features a chalkboard wall encouraging workers to channel their creativity through writing and drawing freely on the board.
Bold graphics, different pops of color give energy and creates a more activity based office is the way to go for this space. Evident through the entire office space is the use of playful colors showing transition from blue to green and black to blue. The lobby on the other hand features a custom rope installation, which serves as somewhat a way finder that spans through the rest of the common areas.
A recessed cubby with a standing hub and extended bench colored in bright blue create provides a sheltered space for a coffee break or phone call, as well as an inviting and unique waiting area for receiving clients.
Conference room in graphic blue and black compliments the large custom tube lights. Pipe like fixtures were designed by Ghislaine Viñas Interior Design.
Green is the color of life, renewal, nature, and energy, and is associated with growth, harmony, freshness, safety, fertility, and positive environment. The backdrop makes you feel like stepping into a tropical island with its featured wallpaper – a perfect backdrop for the stairwell and the mezzanine level.
Green and Yellow colored lighting fixtures are featured on comfort rooms for Men and Women with cool graphic wall designs.
